It only takes about 90 minutes by train to get
from London to Bath.
Facilities
Newton
Park campus, where all courses and subjects
except art and design are located, is a spectacular
parkland estate. The campus has its own lakes,
nature reserve, woods and farmland, along with
numerous historic buildings. A frequent bus
service takes students right into the city centre.
There is a modern library, lecture theatres,
laboratories and two performing arts venues
The Students’ Union (SU) houses a large
bar and common room, a bookshop, stationery
shop and general shop – which won a prize
for best university shop in 2006.
At the Sion Hill campus, art and design working
areas include graphic design studios; electronic
media workshops; studios for art, textiles and
sculpture; workshops for wood, etching, lithography
and silkscreen; and photography darkrooms.
